Resilience Action Plan
Grant County, New Mexico

This Resilience Action Plan was created to increase Grant County’s resilience by enabling the County to anticipate risks, mitigate impacts, and recover rapidly. 

There are five main areas of focus in the plan, all of which address a broader need for increased local capacity and for the development of the county’s human capital:

• Economy
• Natural Disasters
• Leadership 
• Behavioral Health
• Housing

Included in the plan are specific strategic actions that the County can take to enhance its resilience against shocks or disruptions that could negatively impact residents and the community.
