Implementation in Wells, Nevada

With the opening of the Long Canyon Mine gold mine potentially bringing 260 workers to Wells, Nevada, community leaders hired Better City to assist in addressing the low-quality housing stock in the community in order to attract growth. The Better City team worked with officials in Wells to conduct a market assessment that catalogued and quantified the housing situation. In addition, this assessment helped identify incentives to attract potential developers as well as potential locations for housing developments. 

Better City is currently working with Wells in a major downtown redevelopment project to recruit a developer and launch construction of new housing in the community.
